Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

URFA Lab, an RF antenna engineering lab in Ukraine, operated by a sole proprietor (Sole proprietor (ФОП), registration details TBD). Contact for any privacy question: sales@urfalab.com.

What we collect and why

• Orders (checkout): name, email, company and phone if given, delivery address, country, the items ordered and the payment method. We use them to make, ship and invoice your order and to meet accounting and tax obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
• Custom antenna requests, quote requests and messages: name, email, country and what you write in the form. We use them only to answer you and, if you order, to prepare the order (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Emails you send us: handled like messages from the contact form.
• Technical data: your IP address is used at the moment of the visit, with a database on our own server, to pre-select your country and currency; it is not stored for this purpose and not sent to anyone. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising and do not build profiles.

Cookies

• urfa-lab-session and XSRF-TOKEN: technically necessary for forms and checkout (security); deleted after 2 hours of inactivity.
• country: remembers the country or currency you chose; kept for 1 year.

No analytics, advertising or third-party cookies are used. Fonts and all site files are served from our own server.

Where the data is stored

The website, its database and our mail server run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) in a data center in Finland, in the European Union. We read and answer your orders and messages from Ukraine; this transfer is necessary to fulfil your order or answer your request.

Who receives data

• Carrier and customs (e.g. Nova Post, Meest): name, delivery address, phone and the shipment contents, to deliver your parcel and clear customs.
• Payment: if you pay with PayPal or by bank transfer, PayPal or the banks process the payment under their own privacy policies. We do not see or store card numbers.
• No other recipients, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Orders and invoices: as long as accounting and tax law requires.
• Requests and messages that did not lead to an order: only as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.
• Web server access logs: 14 days. Mail server logs: about 5 weeks. Application error logs: 14 days.

Security

The site uses HTTPS only; the administration area is limited to named staff with two-factor authentication for administrators; files you send us are stored privately and are never publicly accessible.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to sales@urfalab.com; we answer within one month. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we start using analytics or other services, we update this page before they go live and change the date above.
